Steven Addi attended Pilchuck Glass School, one of the nations most prestigious glass art schools founded by Dale Chihuli. At Pilchuck, There Steve made many artist friends. Together they put together a group of artist called Masters in Glass. Masters in Glass was founded by Steven Addi to promote the work of important glass artist and spread the word about this important medium.
In recent years Addi formed the Green Art Project t advocating greener methods in the studio. The Green Art Project promotes more efficient and green methods of creating art from scrap or used materials.
Today Steven Addi creates his own designs in glass in fusing kilns at the Reno and Paso Robles studio. He also travels around the country to promote the glass recycling program, The Green Art Project. On the road the Green Art Project educates artist and the consumer on how scrap glass can be recycled into art and functional pieces of glass.
